“I know home shoppers need quick answers and information from a real person. And I know how frustrating it is when that doesn’t happen.” Says Alexa. “I love that I get to be the one to help our customers get the answers they need quickly and reliably.” After 5 years with Berkeley Homes and a background in business, marketing and new home closings, Alexa’s goal is to help buyers have a personal and hands-on experience with someone they can trust. “I want people to know that I’m not here to sell them a home, but to help answer questions and make the process of home shopping as smooth and easy as possible.” When she’s not assisting home buyers, Alexa (a Colorado native) loves cheering on our Colorado sports teams, going to concerts and spending time with family and friends.
Tami has been part of the Berkeley team for 15 years and brings a background in real estate, property management, mortgage lending and onsite sales to her role as BackCountry Community Specialist. “I love meeting new people and helping them through one of the biggest purchase decisions they will make” says Tami about being a Community Specialist. “That and being part of creating a new neighborhood with a strong sense of community and watching people create memories in their new homes.” When not helping people choose their new home, Tami enjoys traveling, hiking, biking, entertaining and spending time with family, friends and her dog Simon who she says is “part human and part schnoodle.”
After spending 10 years behind the scenes and 16 years total in home building, Elise knew she wanted to be out meeting new people and helping them achieve their dream of building a new home.As a Community Manager with Berkeley Homes Elise says, “I love the relationships that I have formed with our buyers and seeing their excitement from the moment they first walk in the door and fall in love with our homes, to the day they get the keys to their new home. It is so fulfilling to be a part of watching people build their dream home.”When she’s not shepherding first time buyers through the construction process, Elise loves traveling and spending time with her family – especially her five amazing grandchildren.
After 8 years with Berkeley Homes and 25 years in the home building industry (not counting her time growing up in a family of home builders), Karen still loves interacting with people and helping them through the process of purchasing a new home. “At Berkeley we strive to have a hands-on and personal connection with our buyers,” says Karen “which is so important to me.” When Karen isn’t advising her buyers, she can usually be enjoying nature.She loves garden design, hiking, swimming, cooking and playing with her short-legged doxie.
Carol has been helping people buy new since 1991. “I have been lucky enough to work for Berkeley for 14 years and I absolutely love it,” she says. One of Carol’s favorite things about her job is watching buyers bring their vision for their new home to life in their design center selections. “I love to see how my buyers personalize their homes,” says Carol. When Carol isn’t onsite helping her buyers she can usually be found walking her two dogs, going to the gym, trying out new restaurants and spending time with friends.
Theresa loves using her background in public relations and marketing to help home buyers from the first time they see the model homes until the day they close on their new home. Working for Berkeley Homes since 2015, Theresa says, “As a native, I have the pleasure of working with the best home builder in Colorado. Knowing I’m helping people buy the best built homes available in our communities is a great feeling.” Theresa spends her time away from work with family, friends, and dog, Gizmo. She enjoys reading the Denver Post every morning with her morning coffee (giving herself 15 minutes to complete the crossword puzzle), is an avid reader, including anything written in French, and playing classic rock songs on her guitars.
Katia loves being part of the Berkeley Homes team and brings her background in fine jewelry and customer service to new home buyers. “Showing people new homes with open floorplans, big windows and high ceilings that reflect the way people live today is one of my favorite things,” says Katia. “I love that our buyers get a new home that reflects their style, not someone else’s taste.”When she isn’t making new friends and helping happy families with their dream homes, Katia enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.
One of the newer members of the Berkeley team, Jill brings her background in resort home sales to our communities, helping buyers build the home of their dreams. “I love this business. Watching a home being built from dirt to become someone’s dream home is awesome.” In addition to her time in the communities, Jill is also a member of the Builders Realty Council, the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver and Professional Women in Building.
